Wednesday

It is just about lunchtime on Wednesday and I am writing this blog from the pediatric floor of MD Anderson. Thankfully, Amanda came through her surgery so strong and so quickly that we were released from the ICU by Tuesday morning and only had to wait until 8:00 that evening to get a room on the Peds floor. By an "MD Anderson clock" that is really quick! :-)

Yesterday went well. Amanda had no restrictions on her diet and her appetite came back very quickly. She was able to be out of her bed and up sitting in a chair for a good part of the afternoon.

Today has been filled with lots of doctors checking in on us and so far, all reports have been positive. We are grateful...
