Isolation

Just spoke with Denise ... she will blog with more information later ...

They actually moved Amanda to a complete isolation room ... called it a zero-pressure or negative-pressure room. Before you actually go into the room, there is a hallway that is also closed off where people get their bio-hazard stuff on. And not only that ... they consider Denise, Caleb and Amanda a bio-hazard due to them all having such close contact with Amanda over the last days ... which means for any of those three to leave the room, requires them to wear protective covering over their (potentially infected) clothing, masks, etc.

Denise said it's been quite a day. Supposedly the doctors are having another "meeting" this evening and perhaps tomorrow we will have more direction as to what we can expect in the days ahead.

Amanda seems to feel fine, and we are certainly thankful for that. They may put her back on IV anti-biotics ... don't know that yet ...

This is taking a little different direction than was expected .... may have to fly Abby and Caleb back ... hopefully we will know more by early in the morning.

I am so sorry for the added difficulty on the way to Amanda's recovery. I know this one comes totally out of left field. Nothing is a surprise to Him who loves her so much, that we know, and He continues to hold her ever so tightly and lovingly.

Love,

Charlotte
