Thankful for many things...including the number 3.75

On this night before the Thanksgiving holiday, we have so many things to be thankful for.
My list - which is much too long to detail here - includes being mother to each one of my six wonderful children, a wife to Larry, the members of our extended family who love and support us, having friends like you in my life, the God given wisdom of Doctors and nurses, and most of all a loving Heavenly Father who holds each of the days of our lives in His hands.

And tonight....it includes the number 3.75! That is right! Just 24 hours after receiving her 2nd infusion, Amanda's number count has already dropped to 3.75! We are all so excited! The first count was high - 1141.22 - but we knew it would be after the infusion. And although that was not quite as high as the count after her first infusion last week, we had the added concerns this time regarding her raised liver enzymes count and the concerns about this being the 2nd one in such a short amount of time. God has taken each of those concerns and given us back the wonderful number 3.75!

Thankful...oh yes, we in the McDaniel family have much to be thankful for this year. Each and everyday that we are all together as a family, we are so very thankful. And tonight...we are happily thanking God for the little number 3.75!

Thankful for so many things, including each of you,

Denise

McDaniel Family~
I am so thankful to hear that Amanda dropped so fast this time. You are all very special people in my life. You are great role models as well because right now you could be angry with God and not thankful for anything, but you are just thankful that you are all together..no matter where you are at. God is watching over you all and is going to continue to bless you all. I hope that you all have a great thanksgiving. You are in my prayers!

As people gather today for Thanksgiving, I am in awe of how many prayers will be lifted up by so many families in one day and how many of those prayers will include Amanda and the entire McDaniel family. That is heart warming.

Given the fact that Amanda had a touch of the flu this week, as well as recovering from her chemo the week before, it is no minor miracle that the number 3.75 was the 24 hour follow-up. That's divine intervention.

Praise God from whom all blessings flow.

I'm with Kevin on this one. How totally amazing, that with all that went on before hand Amanda's numbers are all the more amazing. "Thank you Lord Jesus for your faithfulness to us over and over again!"

Happy Thanksgiving to all!
