Labs were drawn from Amanda throughout the week and we watched as her numbers went down, then, following a few days of injections and some additional meds, we received the call today that confirmed that her numbers were again on the rise.
This was the final confirmation that we needed in order to keep our appointments next week in Houston. We will travel to Houston on Sunday and Amanda will have her first appointment at 8:00 a.m. on Monday morning.
Larry always does a great job of keeping everyone updated while we are away, so you will be able to follow our progress while we are there.
We (of course) ask that you keep these appointments, the Doctor's who will meet Amanda for the first time, and of course our precious daughter in your prayers.
We believe in the power of your prayers...we depend on it.
