We flew out to Denver this time, and am I glad. Otherwise, I understand we would have had to drive through a rather nasty storm on the ground. We flew around and through it in the air too ... had some turbulence ... took a little longer to get here ..... but it was sooooooooo nice to get from KC to Denver in less time than it took us to drive from our home to KC.
We left Columbia in beautiful weather, and landed in Denver in a blizzard. Fortunately none of it is on the ground due to warmer temperatures ... in the 50's. Ronald McDonald house still didn't have an opening, so we found an older Ramada downtown close to the hospitals, and they offer a medical rate that is cheaper. It's a good deal.
In the next few minutes we are heading out to have the PET/CT scan, and then later today an appointment with our Denver doctor.
Later today when we get back here to the hotel, we'll let you know of any further news we might have at that time.
thanks,
larry

Dear All,
We have been so concerned how you were getting to Denver, with the terrible weather. So glad you were able to fly and find housing.
We can't wait to read the next update.
Dad is doing pretty good with his broken foot.
Love and prayers to you all.
Mary and Dad
