Amanda is resting now ... as she will continue to do until sometime tomorrow. She wakes up every now and then and we visit for just a bit, but she is soon back asleep, just as the doctors want her to be at this time.
The chemo will finish its 24-hour-drip by early afternoon tomorrow, and then they will want to watch her for 24 hours to make sure she tolerates it ok. They are giving her a very harsh dose ... trying to kill as much of the tumor as possible.
Tomorrow our team of doctors will meet again and give us some idea of what to expect in the way of treatment in the future. At one point, we thought we might be coming back to Denver for more of these I/A treatments, but now they may have us come back in a couple weeks and do a multiple-site biopsy on the tumor. This would give them a better idea as to how much of the tumor is dead or how much is still alive. We should know more about which way they plan to go with that by this time tomorrow.
Also, one of our main doctors here is concerned about Amanda (having just had this surgery), making the long trip back home in a vehicle, and suggested that we might look at flying her back. Denise and I are looking at our options with regard to that now. We may fly her back, or we might drive, and just go half way and stop for the night, and then finish the rest of the trip on Thursday. We will determine which would be the best decision for Amanda when we talk with her Doctors tomorrow.
Today has been somewhat of an emotional roller coaster. On the one hand, the surgery went fine and with no complications ... on the other hand, the doctors remind us that this tumor and its location are a formidable foe to be taken extremely seriously. Amanda just wants to get home .... we obviously just want Amanda to be well ... I pray that we all get our heart's desires.

Check with Northwest Airlines kidcare program. They offer free airfare for a sick child and one parent. My family contiues to pray for you and your family every day. Stay strong.
