It's Thursday evening and our children have arrived back in Houston. Larry was there to meet them and I am certain that their supper time was filled with great stories and fun pictures. It was a wonderful trip and an incredible experience for them and one I know they will always remember and treasure.
Tomorrow begins early as Amanda spends her morning doing her first post-surgical scans. Then, later in the day there will be an appointment with Dr. Anderson to review the results.
Scan time is always very emotionally wearing. Our hearts know who holds Amanda's future, but our hearts also hold our child while she walks this journey. For Larry, who is there with her this time, me and all of our family, these next hours wear at our hearts and at our very souls.
Your thoughts and prayers regarding our precious child's scan results are both appreciated and coveted as we continue to trust that our loving Heavenly Father will continue to hold our daughter close.
