So much news to share!

So each night I anxiously await the call from Utah that shares with me all the incredible details and stories from Amanda and Caleb and their days in Utah. I am never disappointed. The stories and the experiences that they are having are just incredible.

A couple of highlights from the last two days include...

1) Climbing the rock wall there at the ranch (the ski center). Both kids loved it. Amanda was able to master the most difficult area of the intermediate climb. Amanda said Caleb was "unbelievable" as he easily ascended the most advanced part of the wall. (No surprise to me.) :-)

2) Caleb getting the opportunity to experience skiing "Amanda style".

3) Amanda gaining enough skill and confidence that she went up the mountain and took her first "big" ski run. (She loved it!)

4) While in a warm locker room waiting for his turn on the Ice Rocket, Caleb met the Jamaican Bobsled Team. No kidding. They train there. He got to sit in their bobsled and have his picture taking. Cool.

And finally, tonight's news included the information that another newspaper had come to interview the kids while they skied. The Salt Lake City Tribune did an incredible job with their story and even have live interviews and ski footage. To view it, go to this web site

Tomorrow is the last day for skiing. Amanda assures me that although they miss us back home, they do not want it to end. I am certain that is true. What a gift this has been. What a treasure for them to have been able to share this experience together. I know that neither one of them will ever forget it.

Happy memories. Joy and excitement. What a testimony her smile is to the faithful prayers that have surrounded her (and us) during these last two and a half years. Take time to go read the interview and watch her video. I think it will make you smile as well.

It sure did me.

Amazing! Awesome! Inspiring! And there are so many other words to describe Amanda. It's great seeing the video of her and to see her wonderful smile. We are so happy that Amanda was given this opportunity and that Caleb is able to share it with her. What a huge blessing! Continued Prayers, Wayne and Faye
