Waiting is hard, for all of us, but we continue to trust that God is in control of even our waiting and so we pass the days thankful to be back home and together as a family.
Since arriving back, Amanda has continued to feel well and is thrilled to be back home with her sisters and at school with Caleb and her classmates. She and I will check into Univ. Hospital tomorrow afternoon where she will receive the second half of the chemo infusion that she started in Denver. This particular "drip" takes 2 1/2 hours to infuse, but then we must stay for at least one hour more to watch for particular reactions that can occur following this infusion combination. If Amanda does not experience any reaction then we will be released, if she would have a reaction then they will determine if she needs to be admitted until it is under control.
Following the biopsy results/comparisons in Denver, they will then confirm for us what the next step in our battle will be. Until then we are grateful for these days, listening to our daughters singing and laughing together, the thump of the soccer ball bouncing off our fireplace or wall (courtesy of our son) and the opening and closing of the door as dear friends & family come in and out.
What a great place to be.
