So much to tell...

Where did these days go?  Of course...they went by filled with laughter, wonder and amazement, quiet tears when emotions almost overwhelmed me, shrieks of terror (that would primarily have been me, Haley and some roller coaster), little breaks when we stopped to rest and just soak in the moment and the surroundings, and more laughter.  And then of course there were these...

  • searching out Hidden Mickeys - what a fun thing to do while in Disney
  • front row seats to the Beauty and the Beast theater production with special "meet and greet" backstage passes afterwards.
  • Amanda's pink backpack now covered with special autographs from various Disney characters
  • spending time at Universal park - most of the rides and experiences there each have their own story  :-)
  • meeting "Lucille Ball"...one of Amanda's favorite television personalities
  • half of us loving the roller coaster & half of us just surviving our time on Mt. Everest
  • sampling a snack from every country of the world at Epcot (ahhhh, yeah...I think we hit them all)
  • the fireworks show at Epcot - unbelievable
  • a special gift of extended  park hopper passes for our last day, courtesy of an employee here at the Saratoga who has become dear to us
  • this gorgeous tree house villa which has been a perfect place for us to be all together
  • watching my children walk down the street, talking together, sharing dipping dots and just enjoying being together
There are more, moments when a hug was the only way to say "thank you" and moments when the tears that came to our eyes were brought there by uncontrollable laughter.

As I tucked Amanda in last night, she quietly told me how special these days were to her and much she loved having all her brothers and sisters here with her and all the fun that they were having together. We agreed that this dream of hers truly was a gift to us all. When we said our prayers together, we again thanked God for each and every person who helped to make these days so special...so magical for us all.

And to think...it all started with a mouse, and, because of you, its now our dream come true.

    What a wonderful week!!!
I have enjoyed your WDW time so much...
Checking in daily (multiple times) to see if there may be an update ~ and I was so pleasantly surprised to find several! Considering how packed your days were, it was perfectly understandable if you opted out and just didn't write this week. But you chose to share and what a joy it has been on the receiving end. Thank you. Still praying for GOD'S BEST and MOST GRACIOUS BLESSINGS to be yet ahead for you all. hugs n kisses ~ part of His body in COMO.

You know how it sometimes rains even though the sun is shining? Well, here I sit with a huge smile after reading your post, yet this non-crier has big "mom's heart" tears rolling her face. God is so incredibly kind and good to have given you such a precious week together! Safe travels home.
