It is Tuesday evening and I am happy to post a quick message letting you all know that our first two days of chemo are behind us and Amanda is still feeling well. YEAH! There are still many days ahead and we know - too well - the many side effects that may yet arrive; however, we are thankful for each day that she feels good.
In fact, true to a typical high school-er response, the only time she made a face or looked unhappy was while we were discussing what homework she should work on. :-}
We thank each of you who are upholding her and the days ahead in prayer.

I have been praying for Amanda to tolerate the chemo and that the symptoms of the chemo would not be as great as expected---Thank you God for answered prayer and for a fighter like Amanda in the first place!!
What a nice surprise seeing Amanda and her beautiful smile on the six o'clock news tonight! We're hoping this means she has had one more GOOD day. Love and prayers, Wayne and Faye
