Amanda and I yawned our way through her lab appointment this morning...tired from the most awesome day on Wednesday and a late night filled with lots of laughter, presents and fun.
You only turn 18 once! Caleb and Amanda celebrated their 18th birthday yesterday. What a day. What a significant day. It was the most incredible day shared with family, some friends, their favorite food (I make whatever the birthday kids request)and of course, 18 sparkler candles in pink and blue.
Lab results are already back and Amanda's counts are still good. We are thankful. But the highlight of this blog is by far the thankfulness, the love and the joy that Caleb and Amanda have filled our lives with. This family, that God Himself chose to create, would not have been complete without these beautiful twins. To have shared these years, to have nurtured and guided them and loved them while they have grown into the incredible young people that we cherish today, has been one of the greatest gifts of my life.
They opened presents, they laughed, blew out candles and we took lots of pictures. They loved their gifts.
We love them; our gifts from God.
