Another week has passed and again it was filled with reasons to celebrate.Amanda had her 2nd lab draw (since beginning her oral chemo) and we are happy - and thankful - to tell you that all of her counts were excellent. So far she has experienced no negative side effects...well, she might tell you that continually drinking water (a requirement with her chemo) is a negative side effect...but she would laugh when she said it! :-)
As graduating seniors, Abby and Anna have been busy with all of the end of the year activities. One of the most special was their senior prom. Who was their special guest? Their sister, Amanda. All three girls looked beautiful (a proud mom wrote that) and it was quite emotional for us to watch as the three of them posed for photos together in the park before the dance. Two and a half years ago, dressing up for prom pictures was the farthest thing from our minds.
What a gift. What beautiful girls, both inside and out. What a gift.

And you have EVERY reason to be proud! What beautiful girls! Including the "extra" one too :-) We're thrilled and thankful that Amanda is tolerating the oral chemo so well and pray it continues. Wayne and Faye
Just beautiful,
made my day!
Glad treatment seems to be going well and that Amanda is tolerating the drugs. God bless, prayers continue from someone in Iowa who cares...........
We loved seeing the pictures of the girls. How beautiful.
